Kwan`s mother is a typical down-to-earth hard working mom. She loves Kwan and is very supportive, with just the right amount of motherly caution mixed in, wanting only what is best for Kwan. She hails from Orion from where they escaped poverty; they still struggle and she works hard as a hairstylist. She is great at giving advice and nurturing, but she also keeps the family in order, for instance when attending a formal diner at the Lanarr`s. Like most of Kwan`s family she is quite an adept mental blocker.
